June Feverama

Cebu Doctors' University lobby

Seven days to go and it's June once again. For High Schoolers, it's the start of another 10-month calvary of waking up early to go to school, sleepless nights spent on studying and the oh-so anticipated periodical exams while for others, it's that one step up the education ladder--college.

It's gonna be like the 1st day of High School all over again, or probably not, with the pressure of adulthood and all, thus leaving one question out in the open: "What's college really like?"  For starters, I believe it's that point of maturity where one slight mess up could lead to more that what you bargained for.

I won't judge, but to be honest, it's probably going to be a whole dirrerent arena (call it WWE). In college, it's always about accepting responsibility and taking the initiative. No more Mom, Dad, Yaya or Yayo bringing to school the stuff we left at home (relate?) or being late to school because of traffic, your siblings, etc. when in fact you just overslept. Period.

Fact is, I'm not sure, too, what college is gonna be like. 14 days to go and we'll find out. ;)
